Ted Brown Jr. MD: Non-Executive Director
Dr. Brown is Board Certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and American Academy of Otolaryngology.  He has a Bachelor of Arts in Theology and a Doctor of Medicine from Creighton University.  He completed his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida and an internship in general surgery at Carraway Methodist Medical Center, Birmingham, Alabama.  Dr Brown is a Staff Physician at Spring Hill Regional Hospital and Brookville Regional Hospital and maintains a practice at Beacon Head and Neck Clinical P.A. Springhill, Fl.  In addition, Dr Brown is Chairman of the Physician Leadership Council at Springhill Regional Hospital and Physician Director Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at both Springhill Regional Hospital and Community Hospital Long Term Care Facility, Tampa, Fl.
 


Pete Ceccacci: Executive Director, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Ceccacci has over 30 years experience in public accounting and finance including shareholder in one of the top 40 public accounting firms in the US, a member of the Baker Tilly (International Accounting Group). He is a Certified Public Accountant since 1981 specializing in the healthcare industry as an auditor, accountant, and consultant. Mr. Ceccacci currently serves as a board member and treasurer of Rotary Club of Lakewood Ranch and Miracle League of Manasota, Inc. and a finance committee member of Suncoast Communities Blood Bank. Peter holds a BS in Accounting from Susquehanna University 


Paul DiTullio: Executive Director, Vice President, Product Development

Mr. DiTullio has 20 years in the biotechnology/biopharmaceutical industry that has provided a broad range of scientific, finance, and business experience associated with early stage company development.  Previously, Mr. DiTullio was a co-founder and VP of Product Development for TranXenoGen Inc and was responsible for coordinating all research and product development activities.  Prior to TranXenoGen, Mr. DiTullio was employed as a Research Scientist at Genzyme Transgenics Corporation (now GTC Biotherapeutics Inc) where he was involved in the development of the first transgenic product approved for use in human.  He holds a B.S in biochemistry and M.S. in cell biology from the University of Vermont.


Steve Parkinson: Executive Director, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President
Mr. Parkinson has over 25 years experience in the biotechnology/biopharmaceutical industry.  As co-founder and CEO of TranXenoGen, Mr. Parkinson oversaw its IPO and admission to AIM in July of 2000, increasing its market value from $90M to $250M within one year.  As President and CEO of CereMedix, a drug discovery and development company, he advanced their first product to clinical trials.  Mr. Parkinson has raised public/private finance, built management teams, managed M&A, in-licensed, out-licensed products/technology, and secured major industry contracts and collaborations for companies including, Advanced Cell Technology where he was CEO, Johnson & Johnson, PPL Therapeutics, Genzyme Transgenics and Fermetech Ltd.


Keith Johnson MD: Non-Executive Director
Dr Johnson, a highly experienced medical doctor, is Board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.  He studied biology at the University of Massachusetts and graduated from the University of Guadalajara, College of Medicine, Mexico in 1985 as a Physician and Surgeon.  He completed his residency through Yale University at Bridgeport Hospital and Yale New Haven Medical Center and then served for several years as an Emergency Room Physician in Connecticut before moving to Florida in 1993 where he practiced Pediatric medicine at All Children’s Hospital.  He then entered private practice until 1995 when he worked with First Physicians Group/ Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Associates at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, before entering private practice again in 1995 where he still practices.  Dr Johnson is still an Active Staff Physician at Sarasota Memorial Hospital Department of Pediatrics and Internal Medicine.  He is also an active Staff Physician at Venice Regional Medical Center Department of Internal Medicine.  Dr Johnson also fulfills teaching activities and has held several committee appointments.  He is the recipient of numerous honors and awards, holds several professional and society memberships and provides his time and services to several community activities.  Dr Johnson is regarded as one of Florida’s experts on potential bioterrorism threats and defense.


Stephen Miley, MD, FACEP: Non-Executive Director
Dr. Miley is a graduate of University of South Florida College of Medicine and holds certifications from the American College of Surgeons, Advance Cardiac Life Support, American Board of Quality Assurance & Utilization Review and the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He is the Founder and Managing Director of Axcess Medical Imaging. He is the former founder of Physician Computer Systems, Inc., a developer of software for automation of physician’s offices. He is the former founder, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of MedHost Inc., a software development company for the healthcare industry. In his over 25 years as a physician before founding Axcess Medical Imaging in 2001, Dr. Miley held numerous hospital affiliations and directorships at facilities such as St. Joseph’s Hospital, Lykes Memorial Hospital, Manatee Memorial Hospital, James E. Holmes Regional Medical Center, Palm Bay Family Medical Services, Bon Secours Venice Hospital.
